It was a wonderful experience there and I had retirement party for my ex-coworker. The food there is great and the service was awesome. I live up far north and I never get to see a place like it sometimes. Definitely will go again if I'm around the area for longer.
Have to have their red beans an rice. Very good specially with extra sausage! Gumbo, Cajun shrimp pasta and the cheesecake are great too. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Y’all it’s the best food around. Known for the best rib eye in state of Alabama. The staff is wonderful
Rick's has always been a favorite of mine when in the Lincoln area; I was truly surprised I had not done a review for them before. It is about what you would expect out of a Cajun-type place; it's atmosphere definitely stands out! The service is always good; food is served fast and hot and the staff is very friendly. We shared an order of fried pickles; always a favorite! I had the Tiger Mahi-mahi; it was as awesome as ever. I do remember the portions being a little bigger on my last visit, but as I couldn't finish all I had, it was more than enough. Well prepared pasta, topped with a generous portion of cajun seasoned mahi, with grilled shrimp, and all covered with a delicious cajun cream sauce. Add the garlic bread, and it is a meal fit for a king! I also had the bread pudding, which was very good as well. The prices are a little steep, but to me, the food is well worth it. I'll definitely be back next time we're through the area.
I spotted this place up on the hill and turned around to come back and give it a whirl. Very cool rustic atmosphere, I was seated promptly even during lunch and my hostess and waitress were friendly. My drink order was taken and my sweet tea was brought quickly. The tea had a decent tea flavor, but could have been a little stronger. I ordered the red beans and rice that came with bread and smoked sausage. All I can say is WOW, it was delicious and they brought A LOT, I surely didn't leave hungry. The red beans and rice had plenty of salt and a great spicy flavor, but not enough to harm your taste buds if your sensitive to spicy things. I also tried Rick's special hot sauce which was excellent also. I give this place two thumbs up. Stop in and give them a try if your around.
